Santa Cruz County’s first immigration convergence gathered community leaders to learn & strategize how we can better support immigrants!

Do you care about the health and well-being of immigrants?

Do you want to make this region a better place for all?

Join community advocates, educators, and leaders at Intersections in Immigration: A Cross-Sector Convergence for a Thriving Santa Cruz County to learn about key immigration issues and strategize how Santa Cruz County can better support our immigrant community to thrive.

About this Event

Organized by the Thriving Immigrants Collaborative (TIC) under the leadership of Community Action Board of Santa Cruz County, Inc. (CAB), Intersections in Immigration will leverage the wisdom, expertise, and open minds of local leaders to envision actionable next steps our county can take to create a community where immigrants are supported to thrive. Through networking, collective envisioning, training from subject experts, and focused dialogue, CAB & TIC will elevate the local conversation around immigration and empower leaders from all sectors to make changes that support the well-being of immigrants from their unique positions of power.

Convergence Objectives:

1.  Elevate & centralize the conversation around immigrants’ rights & well-being in our county – including current challenges & opportunities

2.  Equip community leaders with facts regarding immigration landscape

3.  Empower community leaders to identify actionable next steps unique to their role and invite them to take action in this collective effort.
